CACI International Navy Intermediate Automated Information Systems Analyst in Norfolk, Virginia

Job Description

CACI has an opening for a Navy Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) Intermediate AISA (Automated Information Systems Analyst) to provide on-site Information Technology (IT) support to COMNAVSURFLANT (CNSL) in Norfolk, VA.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Provide information systems technical support to both FORCE and UNIT Level NTCSS suites, including NALCOMIS and OOMA servers to COMNAVSURFLANT ships and activities

  • Install, test and execute NTCSS System and Application Data Alignment Programs (DAPS) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAS)

  • Maintain and administer CNSL local servers, databases, and workstations for PATRIOT Force and Unit Level systems; ensuring they are current and ready at all times for fleet training, functional tests, financial and inventory analysis. NTCSS CY04, VIKING and Patriot Servers and respective functional analysis workstations

  • Provide Pre/Post IT NTCSS shipboard assist visits for Force and Unit Level CNSL ships

  • Perform Pre-SMC NTCSS IT assistance and training in support of RSUPPLY, NALCOMIS, OMMS, and RADM

  • Provide distance support to deployed ships

  • Collect, verify and archive CNSL Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) databases on a monthly basis to perform troubleshooting, functional test, analysis and data mining RSUPPLY discrepancies

  • Retain and databases for 10 years in accordance with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance

  • Develop SOPs to assist shipboard ITs with routine NTCSS problems

  • Conduct on-site NTCSS support and IT Limited Training Team (LTT) assist

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, business, computer science, mathematics, or related quantitative science field. As a substitute, eight years of “hands-on” experience in a combination of Navy computer programming, design, and/or analysis may be utilized

  • Training related to the “degree substitute” provided at Navy schools is considered “hands on” experience

  • In addition to any experience which is substituted for education, the NTCSS Intermediate AISA must have seven years (8 is preferred) of experience in Navy Automated Supply Management computer analysis, supply functional analysis, networks and programming; plus, two additional years as a senior-level analyst working under a formal quality management system

  • Must have extensive NTCSS Hardware and Automated Information System (AIS) support and troubleshooting experience.

  • Current DOD Secret Clearance

  • COMPTIA Security+ Certification

  • Familiarity with LAN administration desired
