CACI International Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Level II in Norfolk, Virginia
CACI is seeking a Navy Qualified Validator Level II to join our Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) team.
Overview: Our team supports Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-LANT) in it’s role as the Central Design Activity for this premier logistics command and control support information system. As a Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Level II you will conduct Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Assessment execution in support of the NTCSS IPT and Navy Security Control Assessor (SCA). .
Duties may Include
You are recognized as being well versed in the technical areas within information security work related to Cybersecurity assessments, authorizations, verification, and validation.
You will formulate and implement sound security certification methods for conforming to DoD and
Federal Cybersecurity requirements.
Perform duties of an NQV Level II in execution of DoN RMF processes including the completion of workflow steps in eMASS, the development of RMF artifacts (Security Plan, Security Assessment Plan, Security Assessment Report, etc.) and the completion of Security Assessments.
Apply your demonstrated ability to summarize and report vulnerabilities and weaknesses verbally and in writing to the appropriate leadership. Apply your demonstrated ability to advise, consult, and interact with technical team leaders and peers, as a localized SME
Apply your demonstrated ability to develop Cybersecurity test plans for security testing of DoD/DoN information systems in the unclassified and classified domains IAW National and DoD requirements.
Apply your demonstrated ability to execute testing procedures to determine an accurate assessment of the representative systems, and provide data and information that will formulate both risk analysis, risk based decisions (RBD), and recommendations to the system Authorizing Official (AO) in support of Authorization to Operate (ATO) decisions.
Apply your demonstrated knowledge to assess compliance with NIST 800-53A Security Controls
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizen with an active Secret or higher level Security Clearance
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Security+, CASP, CISSP)
Must possess a Navy Qualified Validator Certification (NQV) Level II in good standing
Minimum of ten years relevant experience of information and information systems integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation
Demonstrated working knowledge of DoD Information Assurance and Cybersecurity policies, procedures and practices including the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53
Demonstrated working knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities
Demonstrated Skill implementing mitigation strategies, resolving problems, and re-testing/ re-evaluating systems
Demonstrated ability to independently conduct Security Assessment using DISA STIGs and SRGs (e.g. Windows STIGs, RHEL STIG, Application Security and Development STIG, Application Server STIG/SRG, Web Server STIG/SRG, Database SRG)
Demonstrated ability to utilize vulnerability management tools including Assured Compliance Assessment System (ACAS) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and analyze results
Demonstrated ability to execute workflows in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
Demonstrated knowledge of the steps associated with
Developing RMF Security Assessment Plan (SAP)
Developing RMF Security Assessment Report (SAR)
Developing RMF Security Plan (SP)
Developing RMF Validator Executive Summary
Knowledge of Linux is desired
Knowledge of Web Server is desired
CISSP strongly desired
