What You’ll Get to Do
As a Senior Logistics Analyst, you'll be responsible for organizing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information. Manages the performance of logistics functions including system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems. Duties may include managing the control of the flow of goods, services and information between the point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements as well as ensuring the execution and improvement of standard logistic processes.
- CACI is currently looking for Senior Logistics Analysts in anticipation of a contract award supporting the US Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. The program provides life cycle maintenance, logistics support, and modernization of foreign military weapon systems and hull, mechanical, and electrical equipment. An important mission of the US Navy is to “Build Partner Capacity” among allies around the globe. In doing so, the US Navy and the US Coast Guard transfer many new and retired maritime vessels to partner nations. This requires significant assistance from private industry in both the transfer process and in the lifecycle sustainment support of those vessels once they arrive in country.
If successful with the contract award, CACI intends to hire a wide spectrum of ship repair & modernization professionals, as well as shipboard operators & trainers. The work will necessitate Full Time, Part Time, and Part Time on Call positions. The Program Office will be based out of the DC metro area, but there will also be a need for professionals to work in Norfolk, VA. Some positions will have flexibility to work remotely. There will also be requirements for long term OCONUS work in Egypt and Iraq as well as short term assignments around the globe.
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who have experience working on US Navy FFG 7’s, MHC’s, MCM’s, PC’s, T-ATF’s, Amphibious & Auxiliaries; USCG 378’ Hamilton Class Cutters, 110’ Island Class Cutters, and smaller patrol boats; US built Patrol Boats; and Foreign built vessels. More About the Role
The primary role of a Senior Logistics Analyst is to provide all aspects of logistics execution for the modernization and maintenance of former USN, USCG and foreign naval vessels.
Other duties and responsibilities may include:
-Responsible for (1) Equipment provisioning and allowance modeling to support preventative (planned), corrective (unplanned), and alterative (e.g. SHIPALTs, MACHALTs, etc) maintenance; (2) Sourcing of material from commercial and federal sectors. (3) Development and maintenance of ship configuration baselines and equipment/systems top-down breakdown/hierarchical relationships; (4) Marine engineering system functionality, components, and associated Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements to support planned/unplanned maintenance;
Running a logistics warehouse(s) including receiving / storage/ shipping of material and the employees associated with it.
Responsible for conducting shipboard equipment validations and ILS Support/shipboard inventories, developing storeroom mock-ups, layout, and supporting material on-loads and off-loads.
Responsible for identification and sourcing material from commercial and federal sources
Responsible for material order submission, tracking, and expediting using DoD and Navy MILSTRIP requisition transactions.
Responsible for material shipping, monitoring, tracing, and tracking using both commercial sources and the DTS for CONUS and OCONUS delivery.
Provide matrix Logistics support to FMS country managers.
Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
Plan, schedule, and route imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from international destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage, and customs transaction compliance. Assess and maintain compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products
Coordinate and conduct training to foreign customers on all aspects of life cycle management and integrated logistics support
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
-Six (6) years of experience in logistics planning and execution activities supporting naval surface or undersea program / project office (i.e. NAVSEA, NSWC, planning yards, etc) to include experience in maintenance planning, supply support, packing/handling/transportation, and training.

-Foreign Military Sales experience
