CACI International SMART (Aircraft) Interfaces Systems Analyst in Norfolk, Virginia
OVERVIEW:The NTCSS – OOMA Team in Norfolk Va. is seeking highly experienced SMART Interfaces Systems Analyst. This is a unique assignment, we ask that you please read the description and qualifications section carefully. You will provide systems analysis within logistics information systems business application projects for NAVWAR and NAVAIR.
Duties may include:
Provide in-depth knowledge of Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology (SMART) interfaces with current Naval Aviation Logistics Command Maintenance Information System (NALCOMIS) Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA), Optimized Intermediate Maintenance Activity (OIMA) logistics information systems, and future Naval Operational Business Logistics Environment (NOBLE) Family of Systems.
Function as a deep-level application, database, and systems analysis subject matter expert (SME) in Optimized NALCOMIS. Individual must have an in-depth knowledge of OOMA and OIMA functions. This knowledge must include the ability to identify and troubleshoot application and data driven anomalies causing failures.
Provide in-depth knowledge of, and ability to troubleshoot systems to isolate problems for database and replication software, operating system software, and/or networking, and provide technical and functional expertise for fleet support and system developers.
Provide in-depth knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) CNAFINST 4790.2 series policies and procedures.
Provide decomposition of Naval Aviation requirements to include elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and provide SME recommendations to project stakeholders, customers and end users.
Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and business rules specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who must base their work on the requirements, e.g., Software Developers, Software Testers, and Functional Experts.
Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, nonfunctional, and transition requirements. Represent requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, use case analysis or scenarios, where appropriate.
Conduct requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements and business rules are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.
Provide in-depth knowledge of relational database management systems, interface requirements, and relationships with other DoD automated information systems.
Serve as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow.
Provide in-depth knowledge of Aircraft/Equipment Inventory and all associated naval aviation logistics and readiness management systems (3M).
Gain a thorough understanding of Navy guidance, processes and the business systems implementing guidance. Serve as functional expert on various features of the system.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizen and possess an active and current SECRET or higher security clearance
10+ years’ experience with Naval Aviation Maintenance at a focus on SMART interfaces.
Must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS, potentially 50% or more
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of DoD and Industry SMART Interfaces and their capabilities.
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of U.S. Navy logistics information systems, requirements management, and of advanced planning and implementation processes and procedures.
Demonstrated analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
Demonstrated observational skills to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitation.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with all levels of DoD.
Demonstrated ability to obtain a Cyber Security IAT Level 2 certification within 6 months of hire.
Demonstrated leadership abilities working with onsite and virtual team members.
Ability to lead change, people, achieve results, and build coalitions in geographically dispersed multi-disciplined organizations.
