CACI is seeking a Software Architect, Senior to support a brand new DOD project located in Norfolk, VA. We are looking for Software Engineer's/Architect's who are interested in a long-term project supporting a national security DOD customer.

Must be willing to work onsite in Norfolk, Virginia.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Design and develop software architectures, evaluating design tradeoffs, and define technical standards related to software, firmware components, or computing systems to be applied to and integrated with complex solutions or products.

  • Support definition and refinement of high-level and non-functional requirements.

  • Determine software solution components and subsystems and the interfaces and interactions between them.

  • Provide technical direction related to the implementation of software architectures by other staff.

  • Review all training requirements from the Solution Architects.

  • Support design meetings with Software Developers, Solution Architects, and UI Engineers.

  • Work in a fast, dynamic environment.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret security clearance.

  • BA/BS with 5-7 years of software architecture experience.

  • Proficiency in popular coding languages including Python, Java and C++ and frameworks or systems such as AngularJS and Git.

  • Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks.

  • Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Management experience leading teams of 3 or more team members.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience in software engineering for AR/VR projects.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
