Software Test Engineer Senior

What You’ll Get to Do:

Responsible for determining the optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes. Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system-level evaluations.

Must be willing to work onsite in Norfolk, Virginia.

More About the Role:

  • Lead the test engineering effort through project completion.

  • Review Government Furnished Information.

  • Review all training requirements from the Solution Architects.

  • Support design meetings with Software Developers, Solution Architects, and UI Engineers.

  • Work in a fast, dynamic environment.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BA/BS with 5 years of software test engineering experience.

  • Management experience leading teams of 3 or more team members.

  • Proficiency with JAVASCRIPT, C++, and Python.

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum development Methodologies

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience in software engineering for AR/VR projects.

  • Secret-level security clearance. (US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.)
