CACI International Systems Administrator OOMA NTCSS VE tier 3 Fleet / Customer Support Technician in Norfolk, Virginia
NTCSS Systems Administrator will be responsible for performing the duties of an Advance Customer Support Technician for the NTCSS in service Virtualized In-service Product Suite to include NTCSS VE and NTCSS Laptop Server product lines. The emphasis of this assignment is on System Administration level customer inquiries for Virtual hosted solutions. The candidate selected will be a member of the Distance Support project team and will perform such tasks as facilitates communications between customers, SME's and Technical staff. Participates in various testing functions (i.e. string and acceptance tests) to verify that results are correct.
Provide System Administration Services and training to fleet customers operating NTCSS and NTCSS in a Virtual Environment
Provide System Administration Services and training to fleet customers operating OOMA and OOMA in a Virtual Environment
Perform data analysis, as well as, troubleshoot and correct application-created data anomalies and corrupt database tables for NTCSS sites.
Have a working knowledge of Remedy and the SPAWARSYSCEN Information Technology Service Management tool used in the tracking of all software related trouble reports, change proposals and fleet assistance request actions.
Provide advanced technical support and administration of systems including but not limited to VMWARE ESX Server, LINUX, UNIX, and Windows environments.
Administer and configure all versions of VMware virtual software and infrastructure.
Works Closely with senior computer specialists to ensure customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of networking protocols TCP/IP, DNS, SFTP, HTTP, SSH.
Ability to perform systems testing, compatibility testing and functional testing for new releases, upgrades, and security (IAVA) updates to the NTCSS & OOMA systems
Demonstrate a working knowledge with various storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, RAID.
Create and modify technical documentation.
Required Skills - Qualifications:
University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience.
The candidate should be a U.S. Citizen and have a secret level security clearance.
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Security+, CASP, CISSP)
In addition the candidate must have the following:
Must possess the ability to troubleshoot issues via remote access using SSH.
Must have a demonstrated level of knowledge with various storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, RAID.
Must have a demonstrated level of knowledge of NTCSS virtualized in service product line to NTCSS VE and NTCSS Laptop Server
Must have a demonstrated level of knowledge of Sybase database structure
Provide NTCSS installation support in a shipboard and shore environment
Process Boundary Change request.
Knowledge of VmWare and Hyper-V technologies is highly desirable
Knowledge of the DAP process is highly desirable
Knowledge of NMCI and CANES is highly desirable
