What You’ll Get to Do:CACI has an immediate need for a Cyber Security Engineer to work in our Charleston, SC office. This a mid-level position with tremendous growth opportunity on an Information Assurance Security team, specializing in dynamic Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) related activities for a large, mission-critical Government financial benefits system.More About the Role:
You will work directly with the operations team to ensure the compliance and security posture as well as implement custom security DevOps style monitoring and configuration compliance tools within a large AWS GovCloud environment.
Deploying and operating industry standard vulnerability scanners (Nessus), configuration management and orchestration tools, identity and access management controls, etc.
Updating POA&Ms, trackers, and multiple A&A packages.
Entering findings and vulnerabilities into the IBM Rational Tool Suite for analysis, severity, triage, and remediation.
Proactive collaboration and communication both internally within the CACI Information Assurance team (Application Security) and externally with the ProdOps and Architecture teams.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Five years of experience in Information Technology.
Basic understanding of information systems, cloud technologies, and information security
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field, preference given to bachelor’s degree in same
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Functional knowledge of one or more of the following: RHEL, OpenShift, Chef, Nessus Security Center, AWS Config, AWS IAM, AWS CloudTrail, AWS CloudWatch, AWS KMS, etc.
Previous CTF or simulated Red Team / Blue Team experience at any level.
InfoSec certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or Network+ are strongly preferred.
