CACI International Systems Engineer in North Charleston, South Carolina
What You’ll Get to Do:
The Systems Engineer (SE) for the James A. Lovell Federal Heath Care Center (JALFHCC) project under the Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a critical component to the success of our contract. The SEs support Windows servers and applications, specifically context management and single sign on (currently Allscripts and Imprivata). The SE will help to maintain the existing tools as well as evaluate replacements and recommend improvements throughout the life of the contract. SEs will require strong communications skills, troubleshooting experience, and need to create and modify existing documentation to improve the product. Windows server experience is necessary and Linux experience is a plus to help with other products in our portfolio. Ideally the candidate will have their Security+ or equivalent and an Operating System cert or be willing to attain them for privileged access to some of the systems we support.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and ten (10) years IT software/ network engineering experience preferably within the government healthcare solutions space (or fourteen years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree)
Active Public Trust clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with software engineering activities for DoD or VA project and JALFHCC Solution is preferred
Hands-on experience with eHealth Exchange (NwHIN), and Terminology Services including HL7 and HL7 C-CDA/HITSP
CompTIA Security+ Certification
