CACI is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to work side-by-side with the most knowledgeable and dedicated team members in the DoD to design, build, and maintain a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transportation management system in support of a high impact DoD customer. The Lead Cybersecurity Engineer is a key role within our organization, responsible for designing, implementing, and enforcing cybersecurity best practices for large public sector enterprises. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the security and regulatory compliance of an SAP-based system. You’ll leverage the latest cutting-edge technology and implementation methodologies to design and build a secure, next-generation multi-modal transportation system of the future. More About the Role

  • Responsible for providing cybersecurity and assessment and authorization subject matter expertise.

  • Implement a multi-layer security strategy to protect enterprise network cyber resources and defend against the latest cyber threats.

  • Design and leverage a Zero Trust architecture and implement cybersecurity best practices for mitigating system risk.

  • Define the system categorization, security controls, and implementation strategies for achieving and maintaining an Authority to Operate (ATO).

  • Lead the team in developing processes that support constant system evaluation, patch management, and threat detection and mitigation.

  • Create a best of breed network security model using Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Host-Based Security Systems (HBSS), packet capture and analysis, firewalls, and other critical components to create a well-rounded solution.

  • Build strong relationships across the stakeholder groups and champion security integration across all functions.

  • Manage cybersecurity contract deliverables and work products.

  • Prepare regular status reports, project documentation, and presentations for program stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with the PM and team to identify opportunities to create sustainable program growth and delivery.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive enterprise engineering and management experience for large, complex organizations for the Federal Government (DoD preferred)

  • At least 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and operating cybersecurity architectures for on-prem and cloud-based Federal systems

  • Experience leading ATO efforts, working with auditors, and conducting annual reviews to maintain system compliance

  • Expert in network security, Federal and IT security protocols, ATO processes, FEDRAMP, and industry tools for mitigating risk

  • 10+ years of SAP implementation and sustainment experience across various components.

  • Experience integrating third party tools and developing ISAs and modifications for ATO boundary adjustments

  • Project management expertise for planning, executing, and completing large scale projects across various stakeholder groups and teams

  • People management and soft skills needed to lead a diverse team of experts across both technical and non-technical roles

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate plans and strategies to executive level positions

  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • PMI PMP is preferred.

  • Agile certification (SAFe) and experience working in an Agile environment.

  • 10+ years of SAP expertise (public sector/DoD preferred).

  • 10+ years leading a team of cybersecurity engineers.

  • Operating large ERP systems in a cloud environment.

  • Direct experience with commercial and Federal supply chain best practices.

  • Public sector consulting experience. ​

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$104,200-$229,200
