What You’ll Get to Do:
As an Accounts Payable Accountant at the Shared Services Center (SSC), you may provide coaching and assistance to entry level personnel.
You will review documentation received by the AP team to ensure timely payments, actions or other means of completing requests within expected timelines.
More About the Role:
Various AP duties may involve:
Review requests for payment or requests to reclassify previously recorded payment activity.
Ensure requests and supporting documentation are complete and valid.
Create payment vouchers – manually and through an upload process.
Respond to inquiries from internal and external business partners relating to supplier invoices and payments
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
At least 3 years of accounting related work experience with at least one year of Accounts Payable experience
Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and Adobe
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in navigating ERP and Procurement software
Experience with CostPoint and Procure to Pay (P2P)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Government or management experience
