What You’ll Get to Do:

As an Accounts Payable/Travel Expense Accountant 1 at the Corporate Enterprise Services Center (CES), you may provide coaching and assistance to entry level personnel. You will review documentation received by the AP team to ensure timely payments, actions or other means of completing requests within expected timelines. You will also audit employee expense reports, process reimbursements, and correspond with employees on travel related questions.

More About the Role:

Various AP and Travel duties may involve:

  • Ensure requests and supporting documentation are complete and valid.

  • Process employee travel expenses.

  • Create AP payment vouchers – manually and through an upload process.

  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external business partners relating to supplier invoices and payments and employee travel related questions.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of accounting related work experience with at least one year of Accounts Payable and/or T&E experience

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and Adobe

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in navigating ERP, Procurement and Travel Reimbursement software

  • Experience with CostPoint, Procure to Pay (P2P), Chrome River

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • Government or management experience
