What You'll get to do:
Work under close supervision performs a variety of routine buying/purchasing tasks involving materials, supplies, or services.
Typically possesses the authority to place purchase orders valued up to $150,000.
May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from senior management level staff.

Reviews requisitions, solicits/evaluates bids, recommends and selects suppliers for award of Purchase Orders.
Negotiates price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions.
Performs oversight on all awarded purchase orders until delivery of goods and/or completion of services; and final payment.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.
Maintains the highest levels of fairness, business ethics and personal conduct, while focusing on superior customer service to the Program Team.
May assist in negotiations for major purchases by developing or compiling statistical information and gathering other data as required.
May support evaluation of bids, selection of suppliers and also negotiate price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions.
Coordinates with the accounting department to resolve supplier invoice issues.
- Zero+ years of related (government procurement) experience.
These qualifications would be nice to have:
Associates degree or equivalent
Cost point and P2P system knowledge.
Training and experience with the utilization of a PCard.
