Join CACI as a Deputy Billing Manager within the Finance & Accounting team located in our Shared Services Center in Oklahoma City. You will work with other dynamic business units such as Project Managers, Accounts Receivable, Operational Accountants, etc. You will be working in tandem with these collaborative teams toward the same goal: CACI's ability to provide solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian Customers.

More About the Role:

As an outstanding Deputy Billing Manager, you will be responsible for leadership and guidance of Billing team employees within contractual and policy requirements. You will provide management and direction for administrative, transactional, and record keeping activities supported by the Billing team.

Specific activities will include:

  • Ensure Biller project portfolios are equitable.

  • Lead, train, advise, and mentor Billing Department Leads and Specialists to meet and exceed goals.

  • Manage and track the preparation and submission of invoices to government customers.

  • May monitor billed and unbilled receivables, along with collections.

  • Sets goals and objectives for team members to achieve operational results.

  • Problems faced may be difficult or complex.

  • Ensures policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.

  • Manage projects and processes.

  • May influence others regarding system design, solutions, and procedures.

  • May use the Costpoint financial system to create and monitor simple to complex project invoices in accordance with CACI standards and policies.

  • Support of internal, external, and government audits as required.

  • Subsequent level of escalation for invoicing, performance, and process issues.

  • Ability to manage the Billing Department and coordinate with stakeholders across CACI.

  • Manages the Billing functions to include onboarding and employee administration, termination, interviews, hiring, records, etc.

  • Provide transactional approvals for first invoices, timecards, system access, etc.

  • Monitor quality assurance and service delivery performance metrics.

  • Monitor service level metrics, conducts analyses, makes recommendations, and prepares reports related to productivity of staff and quality of work.

  • Manage day-to-day Billing administrative activities.

  • Ad hoc reports.

  • Invoice timely and accurately, with invoices being submitted within the specified contract or CACI standards.

  • Skilled in communicating professionally in all platforms:phone, email, video calls, conference calls, etc.

  • Knowledge of FAR, T&M, Cost Plus and Fixed Price invoicing requirements.

  • Ability to use COGNOS and Excel on an intermediate level.

  • Actively seek out process improvement opportunities.

  • Ability to meet or exceed deadlines and prioritize work accordingly.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant billing/accounting and leadership experience.

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Accounting or a comparative level of job experience.

  • Experience working with government customers.

  • Skilled in Excel.

  • Work independently and/or with limited guidance.

  • Work within collaborative teams.

  • Supportive, positive, growth-minded attitude.

  • Communicate effectively.

  • Fluency reading and writing in English.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excel in soft skills related to Leading employees.

  • Ability to identify root cause and solve problems.

  • Have a mind for continuous improvement.

  • Detail-oriented and quality focused.

  • Comfortable enforcing roles and responsibilities with other department leaders.

  • Comfortable speaking with varying levels of Leadership.

  • Familiarity moving processes to automation.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Advanced degree in Business or Accounting.

  • Experience working with RPA(Robotic Process Automation).

  • Knowledge of government accounting.

  • Experience working in Costpoint, WAWF, IPP, MPO, COGNOS, etc.

  • Knowledge of government contracts: CPFF, FFP, T&M.
