At CACI, we are thrilled to open our new Shared Services Center (SSC) in Oklahoma City, OK! Our SSC will be home to hundreds of CACI team members working in critical corporate functions, such as Finance and Accounting, Information Systems, Contracts, Procurement, Security and Human Resources

What You'll get to do:

As a Sr. Buyer you will be responsible for purchasing a variety of complex or technical supplies or services. Typically possesses the authority to place purchase orders valued over $700,000. May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from senior management level staff.

More About this Role:

Reviews requisitions, solicits evaluates bids, recommends and selects suppliers for award of purchase orders. Negotiates price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions. Complies with corporate policies, procedures, and underlying Federal, state, and/or local regulations concerning the purchase and/or shipment of goods, materials, and services. Ability to coordinate and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment. Performs oversight on all awarded purchase orders until delivery/completion of goods/services. Maintains the highest levels of fairness, business ethics and personal conduct, while focusing on superior customer service to the Program Team. Acts as liaison with program management, material control, quality assurance, and engineering. Recruits and maintains responsive suppliers providing high quality products and services at fair and reasonable prices. Conducts supplier site visits. Rates suppliers for production capability, past performance, and timeliness of deliveries. Researches and develops new sources of supply and keeps abreast of new products, manufacturing processes, and price/market trends. Negotiates with suppliers and settles damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering change orders. Expected to provide advice and guidance to less experienced staff

You'll bring these qualifications:

Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related (government contract administration) experience.

These qualifications would be nice to have:

Experience with Costpoint and P2P system knowledge

Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and GSA Schedules.
