What You’ll Get to Do
CACI is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support our customer and overall operations at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY&IMF). As a Business Systems Analyst you will gather metrics, data, and provide analytical support. You will provide objective information for data-based decisions that impact Shipyard programs and operations.
This position supports CACI’s Project Execution and Deck-plate Effectiveness (PEDE) contract and requires 60% on-site support.
More About the Role
Work with our customer to understand and define Shipyard needs. Develop, recommend, and implement solutions. Support/interface with the customer via the phone, VTC, email, chat, and applicable online presence.
Collect data and develop metrics and dashboards to support evaluation of performance and progress toward established goals. Assist in the definition, preparation, and collection of customer metrics and system availability reports, including data collection, preservation, processing, analysis, and storage.
Perform analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements. Research new methods or practices for application to customer support.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts as needed to meet customer needs and facilitate support processes.
Train and support technology users and provide advice and recommendations on business/systems process best practices.
Work independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
Work on the customer site at least 24 hours/week to ensure customer needs are being met.
Work site fluctuates between customer site (office, industrial, aboard ships), CACI office environment, and home site.
Physical Demands: Work may sometimes be in an active industrial environment that may require walking long distances carrying backpack filled with work materials (and transporting materials, supplies as needed), climbing ladders, and accessing confined spaces. Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen with active DoD Secret security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
Minimum 2 years of business/systems analysis experience.
Broad understanding of Naval Shipyard business and operational processes and general knowledge of Shipyard planning and execution systems.
Ability to use data to tell a story and accurately highlight progress toward established goals.
Willingness and ability to experiment and invent new approaches to provide the highest caliber service to our customer.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers at all levels of the organization in a professional, effective manner.
Strong customer service orientation. Respectfully engage customers in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.
Ability to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively.
Ability to perform successfully independently and as a team member in a demanding work environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. (Specifically: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Previous military service or previous work experience at a Naval Shipyard.
