What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a talented Web Content Development Specialist to provide support to our National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) customer.

The selected candidate must either live or be willing to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA, Cincinnati, OH, Morgantown, WV or Atlanta, GA.

During the Pandemic, Staff are currently teleworking 100% of the time.

More About the Role:

  • Review PDF, MS Word, and HTML files for Section 508 and convert noncompliant government documents as needed to become Section 508 compliant using Adobe Acrobat Pro and CommonLook. In some cases, the source document is available (typically in MS Word format) and compliance can be achieved in MS Word. In rare cases, compliance cannot be achieved in PDF format and conversion to HTML format may be necessary.

  • Use in-house software to track documents that are made compliant.

  • Provide graphics, multimedia, and layout and design support for NIOSH using Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.) and Microsoft Office.

  • Use standard HTML development skills to layout and design web pages in support of NIOSH publications.

  • Provide weekly status/progress reports.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of web content experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Must be able to obtain a NACI clearance

  • Working knowledge of 508 compliance requirements.

  • Working knowledge of HTML (including hand coding in HTML).

  • Working knowledge of WordPress.

  • Strong knowledge of user interface design and usability, in addition to a strong knowledge of color, layout, design principles, and typography.

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software.

  • Provide a Portfolio upon request.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) concepts and applications.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint or JIRA.

  • Experience using CommonLook.

  • Knowledge of mobile (Responsive Design) web techniques.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $45,300-$90,600. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
