CACI International Business and Organizational Leadership Coach in Portsmouth, Virginia

Job Description

CACI has an opening for a Leadership Coach in our Portsmouth, VA location. This individual will coach leaders and managers to apply the principles of a learning organization, develop people, transform culture, improve performance, and achieve results through individual, group, team, and/or other coaching-based modalities. Coaches will work individually and as part of a team. Work will be performed outdoors, shipboard, in industrial trade shops, and/or in a field office environment.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provide weekly individual, group, and/or team coaching for mid- to upper-level leaders.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to assess needs, establish goals, and create and implement coaching strategies.

  • Participate in regular team meetings related to organizational strategy, team development, and professional development.

  • Conduct extensive individual and organizational assessments that include comprehensive summary reports.

  • Work with Coaches to establish, track, and report metrics related to stakeholder goals and objectives.

  • Provide weekly oral and written reports.

  • Shadow and observe leaders in meetings and daily work.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

To fulfill the above duties, coaches must demonstrate:

  • Coaching acumen that aligns with the International Coach Federation (ICF) core competencies.

  • Ability to distinguish between coaching, mentoring, training, and consulting.

  • Commitment to gaining ICF coaching credential within two years.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in leadership development, facilitation, organizational development, change management, learning organizations, or process and performance improvement.

  • Ability and desire to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • High Emotional Intelligence and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in an active industrial environment, including walking long distances, climbing ladders, and accessing confined spaces.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

  • Completed Coaching Training program.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Formal training or equivalent in coaching core competencies.

  • An industry-recognized coaching certification (International Coaching Federation, International Association of Coaching, etc.)

Certification and/or experience in some or all of the following:

  • Personality and/or skills assessments, e.g. CliftonStrengths, MBTI, TKI, DISC.

  • Process and/or performance improvement.

  • Change management.

  • Facilitation and/or training of leaders.

  • Currently holds Secret Clearance.
