Job Description
What You’ll Get to Do:CACI is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and qualified Operations and Administration Intern to support our Navy client on-site at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. More About the Role:
Assist with the overall day-to-day operations of the organization under direct supervision of Business System Analysts to include:
Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and revise existing system logic difficulties as necessary
Provide technical support to projects or tasks
Consider most business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
Assist in researching and investigating new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Strong problem formulation, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear and succinct manner
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, Tableau etc)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
Comfortable with taking the initiative and determining the best path forward given multiple valid approaches
Must currently be enrolled in High School OR a full-time Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate student
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance (if applicable to position)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
If Undergraduate or Graduate, Pursuing a degree in Business, Organizational Development or related field is preferred, not required
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
