CACI is seeking a talented Air Force Sales and Program Manager to join Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT). Ascent Vision Technologies is a fast-growing technology company that is a global leader in counter-unmanned aerial systems, high-tech camera systems, and software development. AVT manufactures best-in-class gyro-stabilized gimbal systems designed for a wide variety of ground, maritime, and aerial-based applications. About the Opportunity:

As Air Force Sales and Program Manager you will play a significant role in continuing to advance the organization within our industry. You will have an innate sense to thrive within a fast paced, growing, start-up environment. You will be comfortable working with customers and end-users to ensure results meet and/or exceed customer’s needs and expectations. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities (Include, but not limited to): The successful candidate for Air Force Sales and Program Manager position will have a proven track record of performing all or most of the following responsibilities:

  • Develop revenue generating opportunities across the AVT product and services catalogue.

  • Focus on opportunity areas such as relevant Air Force program offices, Commands, and individual bases/units.

  • Own customer relationships, to include understanding the status of customer funding, acquisition priorities/requirements, and remaining professionally engaged with the customer throughout the year (i.e. phone, in-person visits, VTC, industry days, etc.).

  • Be solely responsible for managing all customer demos and presentations to ensure success.

  • Sales Team member will coordinate logistical assistance with AVT HQ for all range and product demo events to ensure product/personnel/facility availability.

  • Be a subject matter expert on various methods of procurement for our products to our customers, to ensure the sale can be made in a timely manner, legally, and at the best value to our customers.

  • Expect to travel about 50% of the year. Some foreign travel may be required – must retain valid passport.

Inside Business Development Communication, Contracting & Support

  • Ensure all customer and opportunity information is loaded into Salesforce (CRM) in a timely manner, and accurately updated at all times.

  • Provide contract and sales updates to the Director of Sales.

  • Develop and maintain a customer call plan specific to assigned customers.

  • This should be developed in quarterly increments and reviewed monthly.

  • Be solely responsible for developing and submitting professional written products (i.e. SS/RFI/RFP/RFQ responses) for their opportunities.

  • In some instances, and upon request, additional resources will be provided from within AVT and/or CACI to assist with the building of these products, but at no time would this change Sales Team member’s ownership and responsibility for the opportunity.

  • Maintain sales, business development and company contract timeline requirements.

  • Creatively wargame customer and program sales strategies.


  • Read and review competitive marketing materials for technical expertise, new ideas and your own professional development.

  • Provide DoD marketing guidance to AVT team for optimal product and system placement within the industry.


  • 5-10 years of Military or Government-related experience

  • Minimum 3 years relevant Sales/Business Development experience

  • MS Office Suite proficiency

  • A Secret clearance is the minimum requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you may be required to obtain TS/SCI clearance.


  • Knowledge of FAR & DFAR

  • PMP Certification

  • Salesforce/CRM

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $101,800-$218,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
