What You’ll Get to Do

We are looking for a self-starter with the desire to be a critical member of our growing team in an Agile Scrum environment. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will work directly with end-users to solve production support issues, participate in testing tasks, analyze and define business requirements, and help design our application. This role requires you to be able to work independently and help drive work forward all while managing your own priorities and taking on additional work/responsibilities should you be required.

We need someone with strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to properly prioritize and multi-task working independently with close supervision. The team works in a remote setting that will require you to communicate effectively, focus and self-motivate. At various times you will be required to provide on-site support during the high peak usage periods of our applications. This will allow you to work more closely with our customers and build strong relationships. You must be able to work collaboratively with our team and remain flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Work independently, under close supervision, prioritizing your work effectively.

  • Perform various levels of testing to ensure quality across our applications.

  • Analyze and decompose business requirements.

  • Ability to write well defined requirements, test cases, and any other types of documentation that may be required.

  • Ability to provide in person on-site support.

  • Work effectively with team members during high volume support cycle times.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree (in Business Information Systems, Mathematics, or similarly analytical field is a plus)

  • Some experience supporting DoD PPBE processes

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Desire to work in an Agile environment where priorities and deadlines may change regularly.

  • Some experience with the software development life cycle.

  • Some experience with documenting requirements, test cases, etc.

  • Holds active DoD Secret clearance.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Interest in and/or comfort with presenting to an audience a plus.

  • Interest in influencing others regarding processes and solutions.

  • Some experience working in an Agile environment.
