CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI provides a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI supports TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The Cloud Operations Engineer will work to reduce manual processes via automation. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Codifying SOPs into scripts for system deployment, securing, and reporting

  • Auto provisioning/scripting (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Azure Pipelines)

  • Automation of key functions within the on‑premise services, including developing PowerShell and Ansible scripts to deploy VMs and configuring and hardening them to current standards

The EOC operates by a shift schedule to cover 247365 availability. Shift for this position will include overnight and/or weekends.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required

  • An active DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment

  • Bachelor’s degree, and 5-8 years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking, and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments

  • Direct experience with enterprise solution shaping and Microsoft Azure Cloud deployment architecture development including excellent documentation skills

  • Solid understanding of the build and release process and continuous integration and delivery

  • Experience with Office 365 products such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Skype for Business Online

  • Good communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues/requirements accurately and succinctly in a manner that business users can understand

  • Good presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task and participate in large, complex, and concurrent project

  • Experience with large-scale, complex environments

  • Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality – The environment is highly dynamic

  • Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team

  • ITIL v4 certification required within 90 days of hire

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Azure Associate level Microsoft certification, preferred

  • Azure Expert level Microsoft certification

  • Relevant DHS focused experience

  • Active DoD clearance preferred, but not required

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $71,300-$146,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
