What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a Facilitator to provide meeting/event facilitation services to Shipyard personnel at all organizational levels (senior leadership to front-line workers). This is a customer-facing role with a strong emphasis on quickly building relationships and organizing meetings/events for success. Facilitation assignments may emerge short notice due to emerging customer needs.

This is a part-time position that will likely average 20 hours per week.

This position is contingent on funding and will not be filled immediately. The job posting is to source a candidate pool to fill the position if/when it is funded.

More About the Role:

  • Facilitate and lead in-person and virtual/video conference meetings, workshops, focus groups, brainstorming sessions, training sessions, and strategic off-site meetings. Capture key content for analysis, action, and recommendations.

  • Customize meeting/event facilitation services to meet customer needs. This may include consultation with customers on agenda development, framing meeting/event goals and desired outcomes, and supporting execution of follow-up/close-out actions.

  • Coordinate meeting/event logistics, including identifying vendors for event locations, catering arrangements, facilitating vendor contract approval, and event setup and cleanup.

  • Ensure a welcoming and engaging environment is created for meeting/event attendees.

  • Provide updates, reports, and briefings that summarize activities, observations, findings, and recommendations.

  • Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include timely completion of written reports and submission of supporting data and metrics.

  • Support/interface with customers via face to face, telephone, video conferencing, email, chat, and applicable online presence.

  • Work independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.

  • Work site will fluctuate between home site and customer site.

  • Physical Demands: Normal demands associated with an office environment, including ability to work on a computer for long periods. Work may sometimes be in an active industrial environment that may require walking long distances carrying backpack filled with work materials (and transporting materials, supplies as needed). Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience facilitating meetings, including those attended by senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the preparation, selection, organization, and presentation of information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Deliver accurate work products under deadline pressure.

  • Willingness and ability to experiment and innovate new approaches to provide the highest caliber service to our customers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with customers at all levels of the organization in a professional, effective manner.

  • Strong customer service orientation. Respectfully engage customers in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.

  • Ability to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to perform successfully both independently and as a team member in a demanding work environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Previous military service or previous work experience at a Naval Shipyard.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Instruction and training expertise.

  • Ability to create and deliver slide presentations.

  • Ability to promote audience engagement and interactive dialogue.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Training or certification in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Theory of Constraints.

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$52,300-$107,200
