CACI International Java & PL/SQL Developer in Remote (Any State), Virginia
Job Description
We are seeking a Java, PL/SQL Developer to support a Marine Corps Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) based logistics system that provides functions including asset visibility, supply, maintenance, readiness, task organization, repairs, request tracking, and financial information. Detail activities are listed below:
Tune and optimize packages, stored procedures, PL SQL, and application in an Oracle 12c RDBMS environment
Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to be in compliance with approved Agile approach
Review and analyze Change Requests. Participate in requirements gathering and user story refinement sessions with the government product owner.
Review Change Requests and provide assistance in gathering requirements.
Provide technical support during the release testing phases
Provide detailed deployment instructions for successful migration/backout of code
Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.
As required, provide updates to the deliverables identified for the development team
Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule
Participate in daily standup meetings for the scrum team
Record time in Agility for completed tasks daily
Participate in various Agile ceremonies including Release/Sprint Planning, Retrospective sessions
Qualifications:
At least one (1) or more years of years of software development experience in Java and PL/SQL. Experience in all SDLC activities such as requirements analysis, design, development, testing, code build, deployment and documentation
Some experience Oracle Reports, Forms, XML, SOA, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development (customizations and extensions) is desired
Strong technical knowledge of OA Framework development
Familiar with Oracle EBS and/or SCM base tables is desired
Experience with shell/perl scripting is desired
Knowledge of developing interfaces and conversion routines
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience in requirements analysis, testing, documentation
Experience in Oracle Financials R12/R11 and Oracle databases is desired
Must be able to obtain a favorable background investigation.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have
Experience in Marine Corps / DoD supply and maintenance processes
Experience in Agile
Experience in Java Programming is a plus.
Experience in SCM is a plus
Experience in Agility, PVCS, and GITLAB
