What You’ll Get to Do:
The Network DevOps Engineer will perform the role of optimizing and automating ID Technologies portfolio of Archon secure solutions. The candidate will be a product owner supporting the software development and maintenance of existing and emerging technology solutions. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing product solutions then propose improvements to include security, operational, deployment, and new feature integrations. The candidate will integrate into an expert technical team consisting of engineers and developers to author and modify existing code to meet organizational demands.
More About the Role:
Analyze existing Archon solutions to develop steps and processes to improve operating within the constraints of a U.S. Government technology solution
Operate and author playbooks for automation platforms to include Red Hat Ansible, NTS Mantle, and HashiCorp Terraform
Design and Engineer multi-cloud and on-premise architectures supporting highly complex global networking use cases
Author playbooks directly supporting tactical warfighter operations use cases including mission communications kits
Troubleshoot and provide consulting, technical guidance, information and support to Information Technology Operations, company management, and departmental clients
Design solutions and baselines to operational needs within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment and technologies
Use a DevOps approach to research, recommend, build, and maintain a complex range of computer networks and servers, plans and coordinates automated network, system initiatives, security and monitoring
Interact with Archon customers and engineers with the initial setup and configuration of Archon solutions in external network constrained environments.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
15-20 years of experience performing complex technology analysis related to Information Technology and Information Security, within a U.S. Government environment.
Significant hands-on experience leading internal or external security audits and assessments
Deep understanding of version controls within Git
Comparing and parsing data formats (XML, JSON and YAML)
Full technical knowledge of all phases of Information Technology operations
Significant knowledge of Ansible playbook authoring and editing to deploy solutions with the predicted outcome
Subject Matter Expert at IPsec VPN communications utilizing OEM’s such as Cisco (ASAv / CSRv), Aruba, and Palo Alto platforms
In depth knowledge of Red Hat, VMware, and Microsoft Operating Systems
Detail oriented and organized; able to understand and articulate network evaluation criteria and be exact in assessments
Must closely follow network or systems protocols and methodology
Reviews the work of others and is able to detect errors or needed modifications
Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Solid understanding of Data Center Architectures and design principles
Highly experienced with U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community policies and protocols
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) or related Cross Domain technologies (Archon, AFRL SecureView, Forcepoint Trusted Thin Client, etc.)
Experience within the Special Operations Community of Interest
Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE)
Experience in NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) or related Cross Domain technologies.
