The desired candidate will support application and database activities in managing and maintaining multiple Oracle RDBMS environment instances in support of the DoD program operations, maintenance, and deployment with the flexibility to add additional instances based on capacity planning and emerging new government requirements. The selected candidate will ensure production uptime service levels are maintained and made available per requirements that include backup, recovery, refresh, performance tuning, and security (physical and data).
Plans and responds to service outages including backup and restore.
Monitors system performance diagnosing software and hardware failures to resolution
Provides patch management and distribution capabilities to prevent new threats with minimized physical infrastructure impacts.
Creates and tests data backups. Provides data cleansing services, verifies data integrity, and implements access controls.
Assists developers of data exposure services with engagement of the various databases.
Performs database configuration, monitoring, and tuning.
Routine maintenance including problem defect analysis and resolution, space, storage, object management, physical database layout, rollback segment management, and temporary space management.
Supports logs and alerts, access rights and roles, database instance version control. New IDs, roles, authorizations, audits, locked/unlocked status, revocation.
Performs memory usage monitoring, database parameter configuration, database resources, I/O distribution. Ensures system health, maintenance, technical security, recovery, and basic application technical tuning.
Maintains Oracle Critical Upgrades and patch management schedules.
Supports testing and fielding efforts as needed. Supports Systems Sustainment efforts as needed.
Supports Systems Development, Migration, and Integration efforts as needed.
Significant contributor to work plans for security analysis and recommendations
Expertise with Oracle SOA suite 12c administration, performance management and integration
Knowledge of SOA components such as BPEL, Web Services, OSB, etc.
SOA upgrade experience from 11g to 12c including migration of composites and custom applications
Knowledge of ADF application deployment is desirable
Five years of IT experience, with at least 5 years’ large-scale Oracle ERP sustainment experience
Experience using WebLogic for Oracle eBS R12.2 web tier and Oracle OEM12c to manage and monitor environments
Must have experience of installation and support of Oracle RAC, SuperCluster and 184.108.40.206 and 12c database
Experience upgrading Oracle databases
Should have working knowledge of Maintaining DoD security Standards and Rules, including those related to the databases (e.g., Oracle CPU patching, access management, direct grant, db links, etc.).
Should have experience of security monitoring, managing, and testing, such as IAVA's, patches, STIGs etc.
Must have experience of designing and implementing single sign-on architecture of various supporting application such as SOA, OBIEE using available tools including but not limited to OAM/OID
Bachelor’s degree plus seven years relevant experience
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Nice to have skills:
Prior Oracle eBS Federal Financial Management experience supporting Air Force or DoD customers
Relevant certifications, to include OCP, ITIL, etc.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $65,300-$134,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
