What You’ll Get to Do:
As the PMO Analyst for Continual Service Improvement (CSI), you will be a member of the Program Management Operations (PMO) office on the CDM DEFEND Group A (DHS) program. You will work collaboratively across program teams to review/define, document, communicate, and monitor program and project management processes, standards, and applicable performance metrics.
Recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement and represent complex ideas in a simple, easy-to-understand manner to various audiences
Provide sound and data-driven business insights, collaborating with individual contributors and up to senior leadership
Build lines of communication between teams to ensure consistency in the execution of initiatives (I.e., content, frequency, audience, participants, etc.)
Identify appropriate means of communicating process or standard updates to the appropriate audience
Proactively identify and resolve issues without disruption to overall business flow
Coordinate the program Quarterly Planning Cycle, including tracking of baseline status and scope, coordinating priority and IMS schedule review meetings, internal preparation activities, change and impact analysis, and supporting documentation for the IMS deliverable
Manage Request for Service (RFS) Response process for new and revised submissions, including scheduling and leading stand-ups, defining, and tracking deadlines, assigning, and coordinating with content owners, reviews, and identifying and clearing blockers
Maintain a master tracker of RFS details and status, and identify changes that require action or escalation
Generate and report performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders
Identify opportunities to consolidate and align entry of data to reduce redundancy and improve consistency and efficiency of reporting
Track Request for Service (RFS) authorization and baseline statuses (e.g. cost, schedule, and scope) and identify changes/variance and triggers for re-baseline based on established standards
Coordinate with Quality Assurance Specialists on process audits and identify opportunities for process improvements and/or efficiencies
Analyze and evaluate reports for consistency with previous information, standards, and deviations from the standard process
Perform continuous review and follow-up on processes to minimize adverse outcomes on individual projects and apply expertise to provide recommendations and strategies for process improvement
Review the execution of requirements for trends, identifying and resolving potential repetition or problem areas for future projects
Prepare documents for official posting/delivery, internal instructions, operating policies, procedures, and guidelines concerning assigned area, and effectively communicate information
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
Must successfully obtain a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entrance on Duty suitability
U.S. Citizenship Required
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
5+ years of related experience
Experience supporting Government customers
Experience compiling and analyzing complex and nuanced data
Experience using data to create useful and relevant dashboards or reports
Experience tracking project status (e.g. period of performance) and metrics (e.g. award/incentive fee metrics or KPIs)
Experience developing, implementing, and improving program/project processes and standards
Experience coordinating and collaborating across functional areas to support understanding, consensus, and cooperation
Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Knowledge of program/project management best practices and standards (PMI)
Knowledge of relevant or industry CSI practices and standards (e.g. ISO, Lean, etc.)
Well-developed research skills
Experience with, MS Visio, Project, and SharePoint
Excellent presentation development and briefing skills
Familiarity with CACI processes and systems
Relevant DHS focused experience
Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people of different skills, backgrounds, and organizations and management levels
