What You’ll Get to Do:
As a technical lead for an agile team, you are responsible for all aspects of application/module architecture including user interface, APIs, microservices, databases and infrastructure
Maintain sound understanding of enterprise and platform level architecture
Liaison with business analysts to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet business needs and comply with enterprise and platform level architecture and standards
Present and evangelize the solution to architecture guilds and management
Work with business analysts and scrum master to create implementation/development plan for new features/applications/solutions by developing epics and stories
Participate in Agile ceremonies by leading in all technical aspects, including leading the demos to the Product Owner and all applicable stakeholders
Evangelize the developed solution to team members and work with team members to breakup stories into tasks and assist in completion of tasks in timely fashion
Motivating developers, testers and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
Keep up to date with industry trends and developments
Delegating tasks and ensuring all daily, sprint and release goals are achieved
Performs Architecture design and reviews as required, ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state
Identifies risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architectural concerns
Active participation in Agile Scrum sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases
Develop product teams technical skills through mentoring, coaching, and peer reviews
More About the Role:
The ideal candidate will bring:
A strong interest in agile software development practices and experience delivering deployable software in short sprints
Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, CloudBees, or Bamboo
Experience in systems development, systems integration, application design and/or legacy
Experience in the agile management framework
Good ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions
Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery
Familiarity with the following: Hibernate (or other ORM), Angular, Spring, JavaScript, XML, JSON, Eclipse, maven, jUnit, and shell scripting
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience in incremental software development projects such as the Agile Scrum approach
7+ years’ experience related to the role
Professional experience operating within cross-functional teams and groups
An active DoD secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline
Certified ServiceNow Administrator
Certified ServiceNow Developer
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Ability to contribute to the development of program architecture and standards
Experience in Continuous integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) as well as SecDevOps processes and tools

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $71,300-$146,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
