CACI International QA Tester (REMOTE) in Remote (Any State), Virginia
CACI serves the U.S. government to include the Military Health System (MHS) by accelerating the transformation of healthcare through the application of new healthcare strategies and technology. One of our tasks is to provide a wide range of Medical Information Delivery Support for various DoD Medical IT systems and technologies.
The Defense Health Agency's (DHA) mission is to provide a medically ready force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high-quality health services to the MHS beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS.
Our team of IT specialists provide a wide range of Medical Information Delivery Support for various DoD Medical IT systems and technologies.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Develop and execute software test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Integration, migration, regression, and/or performance testing, to identify system and software problems and their causes, recording defect backlog items, reporting the results of testing and resolving testing defects.
Active participation in Agile Scrum sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases.
Trace requirements to test cases to ensure coverage for full system integration test.
Ensure functional and technical requirements are met through system testing, regression testing, and performance testing interface testing activities.
Perform functional administration, configuration, and utilization of testing tools.
Collect, track and report test metrics and briefs leadership on test status.
Work collaboratively with development team to review design specifications and acceptance criteria.
Research and solves user problems by analyzing existing systems.
Create Software Test Reports for system releases.
Update system user documentation
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must Have Active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years related technical/testing experience
Strong testing background, preferably with three (3) years’ experience in incremental development projects using an Agile Scrum approach
Experience testing Web-based applications. Additionally, familiarity with any of the following is highly desirable: SharePoint, SQL, HTML, Continuous integration, Automated testing, UML, Class diagrams.
Ability to write test documentation - Test Plans; Test Reports; Test Procedures; Change Requests; System Requirements Documents; Problem Reports.
Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form.
Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team.
Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements, CM, quality assurance, and release management.
- Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with Microsoft and/or JIRA software testing tools including TFS and Test Manager
Knowledge of the MHS business or healthcare delivery processes
Experience with MHS personnel data, medical workload data, HEDIS, or clinical outcomes data reporting
Experience in a data warehouse and BI environment
Experience retrieving data from various database platforms, web service APIs, flat files, etc.
Experience in working Agile/Scrum environment
