CACI is currently seeking a Junior to Mid-level ServiceNow Developer with agile methodology experience to join our FBDS (Failed Bank Data Service) team supporting Federal Deposit and Insurance Corporation client (FDIC) client located in Northern Virginia. You will be directly contributing to the implementation and development initiatives for the ServiceNow platform.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develop the technical solutions based on requirements, implement them, and testing, and provide implementation support.

  • Build custom dashboards based on custom application data models and external data sources.

  • Create, customize, and configure workflows and define notifications as part of custom workflows in applications.

  • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.

  • Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow developers to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.

  • Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes and build this into the design.

  • Provide expertise on technical questions related to development on of ServiceNow.

  • Technical specification and implementation of ServiceNow integrations

  • Troubleshoot production problems related to ServiceNow custom applications.

  • Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.

  • Maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups and Roles.

More About the Role:

As a member of the FBDS team you will support our team with design, creation, deployment, and maintenance of multiple ServiceNow applications. The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial. You should have worked with or have a strong interest in agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will deliver products and services defined throughout the life cycle of the project and resolve post-production deficiencies. You will also, manage and participate in designing and developing ServiceNow Workflow, Business Rules, Dashboards, Notifications, Integration, Content Management System (CMS), and ITSM Modules.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • 1+ Years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow components, such as Change Management, Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, Release Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, Self-Service Portal, etc.

  • At least 2 – 4 years of related development experience.

  • Experience in implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform.

  • Must have Certified System Administrator certification and be current on Delta exams through Paris.

  • Hands on experience creating and modifying Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Policies, Notifications, Email scripts, ACLs, Scheduled Jobs, etc.

  • Hands on experience in Service Catalog development, creating catalog items, reorganizing catalogs, and creating Workflows.

  • Hands on experience writing low and medium complexity JavaScript in Business Rules, Script Includes, and Custom ACLs.

  • Strong communication and writing skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member in a remote capacity.

  • Knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies, such as Java scripting, XML, HTML, Ajax, CSS, JSON, Perl, Apache Jelly, jQuery, AngularJS, etc.

  • Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.

  • Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately.

  • Fully capable with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Experience in agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, and gathering requirements.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL)

  • Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs

  • Certified Application Developer (CAD), or similar preferred

  • Certified ITIL v4 Foundation, CSM, or similar
