CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI provides a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI supports TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Primary responsibilities include providing Tier 3 and Engineering daily support and administration of an MECM/SCCM 2012 CB infrastructure, creating and deploying application install packages through MECM, and troubleshooting application deployments and MECM client health. Successful candidates will be adept at information/requirements gathering, solutions development, and have knowledge of change management procedures in an enterprise environment.

The candidate will be working with the Engineering Deployment Services team which is responsible for remotely managing all workstations, laptops and servers using MECM across multiple Microsoft based networks and domains, as well as various other external entities on implementations and integration of new and existing projects as needed. This Senior Level Engineer should be well versed in the foundations that make up a large Mission IT network 24x7x365 both CONUS and OCONUS.

More About the Role:

  • Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports in MECM

  • Troubleshoot failed MECM deployments and MECM health issues

  • Administer MECM software delivery, including various methods such as running advertised programs, machine targeted vs user targeted deployments, etc.

  • Manage and administer MECM client health, including client remediations and automation of repairs when available

  • Perform general MECM administration and troubleshooting

  • Create, manage, and administer fully automated software installation packages to meet client requirements

  • MECM Reporting

Candidates should have a firm knowledge/understanding of:

  • Windows based scripting languages

  • PowerShell

  • VBScript

  • Creating software installation packages

  • Scripted automated installs

  • Creating/using transforms

  • Experience using Flexera AdminStudio

  • General knowledge of Group Policy Management, Troubleshooting, Design


  • Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016 Operating System Support

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required

  • An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment

  • Bachelor’s degree, and 10+ years of relevant experience

  • 8 years or more of current experience working as an SMS/SCCM/MECM administrator

  • Advanced MECM skill set and ability to use and administer the toolset without assistance and/or additional training

  • Experience performing MECM administrator responsibilities, which include software import and deployment process

  • Skills in reading log files

  • Ability to learn new concepts very quickly

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality – The environment is highly dynamic

  • Ability to organize and plan work independently

  • MTA, MCSA, and/or MVP certifications a plus

  • High level of performance with strong multitasking abilities

  • Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team

  • ITIL v4 certification required within 90 days of hire

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Relevant DHS focused experience

  • Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

  • Experience creating custom SQL reports

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $71,300-$146,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
