Overview:
Responsible for functioning as a top technical expert supporting an enterprise technical infrastructure. Studies and analyzes system needs, system development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering. Works with the enterprise to solve business problems with technology including hardware, software, databases, operating systems, and networks. Designs and defines information technology (IT) system architecture for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards. Assists in the development and management of an architecture governance process. Maintains knowledge of changes in technologies.
We are seeking an Oracle EBS Techno - Functional administrator to support a Marine Corps Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) based logistics system that provides functions including asset visibility, supply, maintenance, readiness, task organization, request tracking, and financial information. The desired candidate will work as part of an Enterprise Service Desk - Service Improvement team to process user assistance tickets that require in-depth functional and some technical knowledge and expertise of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) (see Application list and associated familiarity level required below). Additionally, will support the identification, analysis and resolution of issues and errors through development of reports, PL/SQL Query and Update scripts, documentation, etc.

The GCSS-MC footprint includes:
Licensed or shared use of one hundred and seven (107) Oracle Applications
Forty-five (45) active, commonly in-use Applications
Over one-hundred eighty (180) Custom work products (RICE)
Over eighty (80) other Installation Manuals, Application Configuration Guides, Security guides, & Technical Architecture SOPs
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Current, active T5 level background investigation (required)
Current, active Security+ certification or equivalent or ability to obtain active Security+ certification or equivalent within 2 months of joining team.
The successful candidate will have varying levels of knowledge and experience with Oracle standard Applications (below), as well as a deep technical and functional knowledge of most of the RICE WPs
What You'll Get to Do:
Possesses in-depth Functional and some Technical knowledge and expertise of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) in Forty-six (46) standard Oracle Applications and over 180 RICE Work Products
Provide capability to support critical outage analysis, investigation, and resolution within a two-hour window, 24/7 when on call, on a rotating schedule.
Provide capability to support routine operational requirements in evenings, through 8:00 PM Eastern.
Provide capability to support Application Build deployment tasks on weekends and holidays, given 24 hours advance notice.
Provides technical and functional expertise in incorporating new solutions to the business, resolve issues efficiently, reduce repetitive tasks and support users performing mission critical business functions.
Provide technical assistance and solution delivery to Program Management Office, Product Owners, and Managers for new SQL Query requests.
Triage, troubleshoot, and correctly route Oracle application issues transferred to TIER III.
Create Change Requests as necessary for interim and/or permanent solution as applicable solution.
Troubleshoot technical and functional issues and provide solutions through configurations and setup changes as and when appropriately authorized.
Establish and build process management procedures and create/update SOP for work arounds when required and authorized.
Review Technical Design Documents and code to understand and gain knowledge about the functionalities of different RICECPW components.
Apply functional builds to pre-production and production instances during cutover.
Run proactive SQL scripts to identify and resolve production issues.
Advanced diagnostics, analysis and troubleshoot of EBS workflow issue in pre-production and production environment.
Provide technical support as requested for audit readiness and evaluating internal control processes.
Contribute evaluating the Oracle ERP solution for compliance with applicable federal laws, regulations, and policies.
Contribute risk assessments to identify potential DoD Agency risks and mitigation strategies.
Create, update, maintain and end-date in GCSS-MC per IA direction via Remedy WO or Incident

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Experience in Marine Corps / DoD supply and maintenance processes
Experience investigating, researching, and resolving production issues and performing Root Cause Analysis
Experience in requirements analysis, solution design, configurations, testing, documentation
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments.
Expertise in Marine Corps / DoD supply and maintenance processes
PL/SQL Development experience and skills
Basic or Foundational level comprehension of Operations Interface, System Administration, and Data Base Administration functions

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$89,500-$188,000
