What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is seeking a Software Developer to support a large contract in supporting the Department of the Air Force Enterprise IT Program. A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience providing dynamic engineering support to include the design, development, testing, and integration of mission-focused applications. This individual will serve as a recognized authority and subject matter expert to maintain and upgrade current systems and develop future capabilities from design inception to deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops custom solutions for specialized mission sets based on customer needs and requirements.
Ability to innovate and stay up to date on cutting edge tools and technologies, creating new ways to protect data and communicate or secure information utilizing custom or open source designs
Recommend experience in Cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), and mobile development.
Remain flexible in order to understand customers’ needs and able to perform rapid prototype development in order to field test prototypes and updates to current solutions
Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.
Assists in the preparation of internal software design documentation.
Develops the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security, rules infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfaces.
Employs best practices for design, development, unit testing and test plan development.
Supports completed software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and in production.
Works with well-structured data.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Proficient Software Development skills in Java, Python, C++, Visual Basic, and HTML
Must be eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance and pass all relevant background checks for a security clearance.
Ten years of programming/engineering experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s Degree in related field may be substituted for bachelor’s degree and 3 years relevant experience).
