CACI International Software Engineer / SAS Architect in Remote (Any State), Virginia
CACI is seeking a Software Engineer / SAS Architect to support the National Syndromic Surveillance Program within the Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services (CSELS) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Division of Health Informatics and Surveillance (DHIS) is one of the four divisions in CSELS. The primary mission of the DHIS is to advance the science and practice of public health informatics and surveillance. It serves as a focal point at CDC for addressing common issues and advancing best practices in the fields of public health informatics and surveillance, and manages public health surveillance systems with cross-cutting utility for multiple CDC programs.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Manages the SAS Configuration on each server.
Adds users and manage user accounts/access.
Actively monitors server activities, system availability/status, and administer logging.
Manages connectivity to data sources.
Establish and maintain metadata folders, structures, and repositories.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent plus a minimum five years of related work experience.
A minimum of three years of experience in system architecture and system administration.
A minimum of three years of experience as a SAS Certified Platform Administrator.
Experience in a Cloud environment a plus.
Must be able to obtain a NACI clearance.
