What You’ll Get to Do:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day functional system administration of the Standard Procurement System (SPS) for the National Capital Region (NCR), in support of approximately 300 users.

More About the Role:

As a SPS PD2 System Administrator, you will:

  • manage user accounts;

  • write reports;

  • perform system administration tasks;

  • run scripts;

  • perform troubleshooting actions;

  • escalate issues to the SPS Helpdesk as an authorized caller for the site;

  • provide functional contracting guidance occasionally;

  • respond to data calls as directed by the Marine Corps Systems command program leadership; and

  • write custom reports using Cognos, the built-in SPS report writing tool.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum seven (7) years of related work. For this specific position however, the following is required:

  • In depth knowledge of the suite of Standard Procurement System products: Procurement Desktop – Defense (PD2) v4.2.2 SR17 and above;Cognos;FPDS-NG; andSAM;

  • Experience providing system administration support to Standard Procurement System users;

  • Windows client/server environment; and

  • MS Office products.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • DoD Contracting/Acquisition experience; and

  • Sybase SQL script writing.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $64,600-$132,500. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
