CACI International Sr. Middleware/SI Developer in Remote (Any State), Virginia

Job Description

We are seeking an Oracle EBS Technical Middleware Developer to support a Marine Corps Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) based logistics system that provides functions including asset visibility, supply, maintenance, readiness, task organization, repairs, request tracking, and financial information. The desired candidate will work in an Agile development team building Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Enhancements, Personalization and Workflow solutions. Candidate will develop, design, configure, test and document solution based on the requirements and user stories. Detail activities are listed below:

  • Responsible for developing/modifying middleware components of interfaces including SOA, B2B, OAG, & BPEL.

  • Oracle SOA Suite 11g and/or 12c Implementation Specialist in design and development experience providing business solutions using SOA 12c/11g - B2B, OAG, OSB, BAM

  • Responsible for the design & development of RICE-W in most of the oracle modules, including but not limited to, iProcurement, PO, INV, OM, BOM, AP, AR, PO, GL, & FND

  • Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to be in compliance with approved Agile approach.

  • Review Technical Design Documents and code to understand and gain knowledge about the functionalities of different RICECPW components.

  • Meet with the incumbent SME and government personnel to gain knowledge to transition from incumbent for different RICECPW components.

  • Lead transition knowledge transfer sessions with incumbent and government personnel for different RICECPW components.

  • Review and analyze Change Requests. and provide assistance in gathering requirements.Participate in requirements gathering and user story refinement sessions with the government product owner.

  • Tune and optimize packages, stored procedures, PL SQL, and application in an Oracle 12c and 19c RDBMS environment.

  • Provide technical support during the release testing phases.

  • Provide detailed deployment instructions for successful migration/backout of code.

  • Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.

  • Drive all meetings with the customer and manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules.

  • As required, provide updates to the deliverables identified for the development team.

  • Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.

  • Participate in various Agile ceremonies including Release/Sprint Planning, Retrospective sessions

  • Be an active Team member on a high performing Agile Team implementing the CACI Agile Solution Factory execution model.


  • Experience installing and documenting a new SOA 12c environment from scratch

  • Experience extending an existing SOA 12c domain to additional Managed servers

  • Experience installing SOA and Middleware patch updates. and Java jdk and jre patches

  • More than 8 years of Middleware development experience SOA, B2B, OAG, & BPEL.

  • Familiarity with setup and operation of SOA lifecycle scripts

  • Experience developing and modifying SOA composite processes

  • Experience writing/modifying Linux shell scripts and utilities (tar, vi, etc.)

  • Middleware development experience SOA, B2B, OAG, & BPEL.

  • Experiences in Web Services development

  • Experience in Oracle Financials R12/R11 and Oracle databases.

  • Strong technical knowledge of oracle modules, including but not limited to, AP AR, PO, INV and OM GL, FV, FND, FA, & iProcurement

  • Strong in PL/SQL, Reports, Forms, XML, SOA, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development (customizations and extensions)

  • Strong technical knowledge of OA Framework development, and in SOA upgrade

  • Familiar with Oracle EBS and/or SCM base tables

  • Experience with shell/perl scripting

  • Ability to conduct impact analysis of the product updates released periodically by the vendor

  • Strong knowledge of developing interfaces and conversion routines

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • 6 – 15 More than 10 years of Experience in Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management modules R12/R11

  • More than 10 years of experience in SDLC activities such as requirements analysis, design, development, testing, code build, deployment and documentation

  • Experience in requirements analysis, testing, documentation

  • Experience in middle ware impact analysis in EBS database upgrade to 19c

  • Must be able to obtain a favorable NACI background investigation

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

  • Experience in Marine Corps / DoD supply and maintenance processes

  • Experience in Agile

  • Experience in in OAG cloud offering in 19c database

  • Experience in Java Programming is a plus.

  • Experience in SCM is a plus

  • Experience in Agility, PVCS, and GITLAB
