What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is looking for a BASIS System Administrator Lead to support a federal government client in Reston, VA.
The BASIS System Administrator Lead is responsible for the application components of the ERP solution and integration within the enterprise business environment. The Lead will provide leadership and technical direction to technical and functional team members. The Lead will provide strategic guidance with respect to ERP road maps and future direction to management and business units. This position is to lead the technical design, development, and delivery of a new SAP S4/HANA implementation for Public sector government agency. Following the initial foundation/discovery phase, the project will continue with several phases continuing to drive improvements across the enterprise.
More About the Role:
Provides architectural, functional, and technical guidance on SAP Basis systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and driving the practices, configurations, and technologies for managing performance, delivering high availability, and ensuring data integrity.
Experienced with a broad set of technologies, solutions, and processes in the areas of business applications, information management and delivery, networking, infrastructure, and systems development tools/techniques.
In-depth knowledge of SAP platforms to include NetWeaver, HANA, and operational Basis administration. Certification in these areas is a plus.
Expert in architecting and supporting solutions around SAP ecosystems and a technology stack of SAP Enterprise Core Component (ECC), Master Data Governance (MDG), Business Intelligence (BI), Business Objects, Enterprise Portal (EP), SAP HANA, Suite on HANA, BW on HANA, SLD, Process Integration (PI/PO), Fiori, Gateway, ChaRM, Solution Manager 7.2, GRC, SAP HANA, SAP ABAP Stack, SAP JAVA Stack, SAP Mobile Platform (SMP), other NetWeaver components and Cloud Integration.
Hands-on experience with SAP Basis tasks such as designing and implementing landscape and infrastructure, client strategy, capacity planning (sizing), high-availability and disaster-recovery setup, backup and recovery strategy, storage systems, SAP upgrades, OS/DB migration, presales, Solution Manager, and Basis administration.
Configure and maintain SSO configurations between SAP systems and SAML providers.
Configure and maintain SSL certificates for SAP systems.
Configure and maintain SAP Web Dispatcher.
Experienced with state-of-the-art security and compliance standards.
Knowledge of Tableau, PRISM, MAXIMO would be a plus.
Support development team needs to define and document solution architecture as part of a new initiative or enhancement.
Provide technical mentorship to development teams by providing platforms/technologies/solutions expertise.
Proactively inform/interface with the Product Owner, Application Development team, and Architecture team to identify solutions and opportunities.
Deliver business value using creative and effective approaches.
Present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner in single or group environments through various formats to mentor the IT team.
Proactive, responsible individual, able to set own action plans.
Understanding of critical complementary technologies including SAP HANA, Linux and Oracle RDBMS.
Must be comfortable with change and with actively driving improvements.
Proven technical project management and documentation skills.
Must be team-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
Provide direction and work allocation to team members.
