CACI International Bluescape Software Engineering Intern - Summer 2021 in Reston, Virginia

Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:CACI will be piloting Bluescape, an infinite, collaborative workspace designed to accelerate decision-making by enabling anyone to create, communicate, visualize, organize, and strategize virtually anything, anywhere, anytime. The right candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across departments towards a common goal. More About the Role:

  • Proactively own and manage the success of a technical software pilot program using Bluescape

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact post-implementation

  • Identify potential use cases and develop implementation plans

  • Monitor and identify adoption and utilization trends

  • Provide technical recommendations on pilot success based on CACI end-user needs

  • Collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas, including software

  • Advocate on CACI's behalf with Bluescape support technicians

  • Develop creative solutions to support complex Business Development requirements

  • Collect and provide usage analytics, areas for expansion, and lessons learned before, during, and after pilot implementation

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must currently be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program

  • Passion for implementing open source tools, systems / network / application diagnostics frameworks, environments for a SaaS enterprise with a structured approach to achieve high-quality sustainable production operations will be required

  • Knowledge of typical enterprise application frameworks and languages.

  • Experience developing strategies to increase adoption of technology solutions

  • Ability to solve difficult issues with little supervision

  • Ability to effectively deliver difficult conversations with positive outcomes

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • The desire to make contributions to the company that will be used by current and future full-time employees

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Outstanding oral and written communication

  • The ability and willingness to work alongside senior team members and managers to further your professional development

  • Graduate or undergraduate student pursing a degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, not required

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required

  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
