The Operations Services and Solutions (OSS) sector at CACI is seeking a Capture Management Professional with a successful track record of overseeing and directing capture organizations in the Intelligence Community (IC) space. The OSS organization pursues contracts in Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and Federal Civilian agencies.

The Chief Qualification and Capture Strategist (QCS) must have a demonstrated track record both in assessing and prioritizing candidate pursuits among a multi-billion-dollar pipeline, and in reviewing and strengthening capture strategies for large, strategic bids exceeding $250M in total contract value (TCV). You will implement a collaborative program to engage Business Development (BD) staff, assess the maturity of their opportunities, coach them on missing or weak qualification elements, and advise them on how to strengthen their qualification prior moving pursuits into capture. You will also work with capture staff to strengthen their initial capture strategies and support periodic peer reviews and other capture improvement activities prior to the proposal phase. You will work closely with the OSS Capture Vice President to refine and build out the Qualification and Capture Strategist role.

You will be based at our state-of-the-art Reston, Virginia location.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Participate fully in all aspects of the Capture program in OSS – including ongoing pipeline evaluation, participation in Milestone Reviews, and other continuous process improvement.

  • Manage a collaborative capture readiness program to assess the degree to which a pursuit is qualified and how ready it is to move from sales into capture. This work includes:

  • Meet regularly with BD/Sales staff to review their pursuits against a predefined set of readiness activities and artifacts. Coach them on necessary prerequisites before their deals can be moved into capture.

  • Facilitate interactive capture readiness reviews between the BD and the capture manager – ensuring appropriate level of completion of all qualification activities and artifacts – prior to the actual handoff into capture management.

  • Support gate reviews where handoff recommendations are presented to executives.

  • Oversee and implement a capture peer-review process so that all capture managers can benefit from the accumulated wisdom and experience of our team.

  • Organize and deliver a quarterly development program to create capture competency in the operations (i.e., “line”) organizations. This program will include selecting candidates, arranging training for them, delivering training, and assigning mentors to assist in their first assignments.

  • Support individual Captures and Proposals on select deals, as appropriate.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

  • 15+ years performing Capture Management and BD Operations at large integrator companies.

  • Understanding of the offerings, technologies, and vendors in the Intelligence Community space (for DoD, IC, and Civilian Agencies).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong organization and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency with word, PowerPoint, and excel.

  • An Active Top Secret Clearance is needed.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Security clearance at TS/SCI level is preferred
