CACI International Cloud DevOps Systems Engineer in Reston, Virginia

Job Description

As a Cloud DevOps Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Implementing DevOps principles and practices to get the most out of the tool chain

  • Automating environment deployments into varied and complex environments using virtual machines and container technology in cloud environment

  • Collaborating with team members from all parts of the development lifecycle, from development to operations to security, solving technical challenges, and providing and receiving guidance and mentorship

You will have experience with the following:

  • Current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

  • Experience configuring and maintaining DevOps continuous pipeline based on Jenkins and Docker containers in an AWS/C2S environment

  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)

  • Proficient with an interpreted scripting language (e.g. Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.)

  • Must be very comfortable operating within the Linux environment

  • Full SDLC experience (business case and requirements engineering to production support)

  • Strong writing, planning, organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with individual or combination of the SCM tools (e.g. Subversion, JIRA with Confluence, etc.)

  • Experience coordinating the development of Configuration Management Plans (CMP), as well as maintaining and updating them and all processes pertaining to CM

  • Experience monitoring and reporting on software development CM activities (e.g. product baseline, identification and control of developed software, COTS/GOTS, hardware, and documentation

  • Familiarity with Configuration Management SCM/CM concepts, software build/release engineering, and build framework design and architecture

  • Source code administration experience

  • Version control experience, such as subversion or GIT for build reports and software

  • Continuous integration tools for software development (e.g. Jenkins)

  • Experience working with database server deployments

  • Experience running continuous integration build life cycles focused on automation

  • Experience with security accreditation to include Authority to Operate

  • Must have skills in most of the following areas:

  • Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipeline principles and SecDevOps best practices

  • Expertise in web stack technologies

  • GitHub, Jenkins, CentOS, BASH, Perl

  • AWS, C2S

  • Katalon, Selenium

  • MySQL, RDS

  • Apache Spark, Hadoop, SOLR

  • Apache Tomcat, Eclipse, SVN, ANT, Active Directory, LDAP, Regex

  • one of the following certifications AWS Solutions Architect or Developer, or DevOps

You will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent:

  • 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 10 Years of job related experience and Associate degree

  • 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

Experience with the following is a plus:

  • Proficient with Cloud and Virtualization technologies and their APIs

  • Experience supporting Atlassian Suite products (e.g. Jira/Confluence/BitBucket)

  • Strong knowledge of technology and security topics including network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security

  • Java, SQL, JavaScript, XML

  • React, Angular

  • Spring web MVC or any other web MVC framework

  • Docker

  • Openstack

  • Experience with RMF process and XACTA software
