In this role, you will be responsible for working on an IRAD project focused on development of a platform to be used by our "Aggressor Squadron" cyber engineers. Specifically, you will get to work on reverse engineering tools and implants and exploits to be used primarily for testing readiness of cyber protection team customers and for internal training purposes. You will have the freedom to explore different capabilities and provide solutions through a variety of development and integration efforts based on your ability to research, prototype, test, document, and ultimately implement those solutions in CACI's Aggressor Team environment.
Once cleared, you will support the sponsor’s environments with technical research, development, proof of concept/prototyping, risk assessment, and the establishment & execution of mitigation strategies throughout the cyber security operations life cycle. You will enable operations through automation and scripting to gain efficiency in task execution across a wide spectrum of disciplines. You will be given the freedom to use your technical creativity and problem-solving skills to deliver impactful solutions with direct and high impact to our customer's mission.
More About the Role:
Ability to research, analyze, prioritize, problem solve, and work several tasks concurrently with minimal supervision
Strong understanding of malware reverse engineering principles, techniques for both static and dynamic analysis
Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging team environment
Strong understanding of linux operating system
Working knowledge of technology to support safe and secure operations
Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
Experience with LAN Management & Network Practices to include:
Network system performance monitoring and analysis
Computer, server, and network security troubleshooting
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly clearance
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) and relevant work experience in the area of TCP/IP networks to include VPN, NAT and troubleshooting non-standard network infrastructure preferred
Understanding of reverse engineering techniques and tools to include automated forensic analysis tools along with assembly language concepts relevant to reverse engineering.
Understanding of current network security technologies
Ability to interact and communication with individuals from various backgrounds and to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
Working knowledge of operational capabilities and gaps
Working knowledge of the operational skills, application tools, and the governance of operational activities
Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new languages and development environments
