What You’ll Get to Do:
As a system engineer you will be responsible for design, system integration, requirements and system verification. Follow project guidelines using full system development lifecycle. Manage updates and future system improvements following the enterprise solutions when available.

Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.
Collaborate with others to determine design specification or details.
Provide advice and direction on project cost, design concepts or design changes.
Recommend changes to improve computer or information systems.
Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system related information.
Document technical specifications for requirements.
Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability of system architecture.
Test computer system operations against requirements to insure proper functions and system usability.
Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions and ensure the compatibility of system components.
Provide technical guidance to support development and troubleshooting of any known issues.
Evaluate current and emerging technologies to consider factors such as customer usability, security and compatibility with current customer needs.
Monitor system operations to detect potential problems and develop solutions which insure uninterrupted system use.
Configure servers to meet functional specifications.
Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration and distributed system architectures.
Design computer integrated systems.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to engineer using the latest virtual or published desktop technologies (Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop):
Engineering knowledge of the latest Exchange Server
Documentation of all Systems functions and upgrades
Documentation of System Approval to Operate and Software fixes and updates
Experience with managing and designing system network items such as DHCP and DNS
Familiar with deploying, upgrading, and patching Microsoft products.
Familiar with performing system upgrades and user transitions.
Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows all current versions.
Working knowledge of Active Directory and ability to implement changes when needed
Solid troubleshooting skills.
Microsoft Visio for creating high level system designs.
Ability to self-learn, act on own initiative, and work in a dynamic environment.
Familiar with deploying and managing virtual servers in VMWare environment and other cloud solutions.
Plan and design workstation updates and securing workstations
Familiarity with thin client technology design, integration and future solution implementations.
Ability to script in the Windows environment using PowerShell.
Familiarity with cloud services and deploying systems in the cloud.
Required Education & Experience:
Candidate must have one of the following:
12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
10 Years of job related experience and Associate degree
8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows System Updates Services.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Data Protection Management.
Advance knowledge in Microsoft Exchange services
Advance knowledge in Office 365, conversion and migration technologies
