CACI International Network Security Engineer in Reston, Virginia
About the Role:
Perform as a senior level system/network engineer maintaining a network in a non-traditional commercial environment. Successful candidate will be mentored in the engineering and acquisition of non-traditional networks.
What You Will Bring:
Must have 7 years of experience setting-up and using virtual environments including exposure to VMWare, ESXi/vCenter/vSphere and Oracle VirtualBox.
Must possess an active TS/SCI with required polygraph clearance.
Must have experience with various versions of Linux and Windows.
Experience in a cyber-security role.
Experience with set-up and maintenance of pfSense, OPNsense, and Open VPN.
System administration at the enterprise level and ability to automate tasks with Python and shell scripting.
Understanding of cryptocurrency usage and tradecraft.
Operation and Maintenance of virtual operators and enforcement of tradecraft.
System and security log review and analysis using ELK stack.
Experience in using Tor and set-up and maintenance of hidden servers.
Understanding of operational tradecraft of dataflow end-to-end and east-west communications within a data center.
Understanding of end-to-end data flow and applications to include workstation and servers.
Experience in either the design, implementation, procurement, tradecraft, or maintenance of various layers within covert network infrastructure.
Experience with network and server hardware procurement and detailed record keeping to support mission networks.
Nice to Have:
Experience with configuration of management software such as Ansible, Puppet, etc. This would be an ideal desired skill.
Experience implementing security standards in anticipation of fast pace change of operational tradecraft practices.
Experience with infrastructure troubleshooting, to include direct interaction with vendors and service providers.
Experience using non-traditional payment methods.
Experience with cloud infrastructure purchase and maintenance.
