Join CACI as a PL/SQL Developer to design and develop brand new capabilities to help our customer make decisions in support of their vital mission.
We have been supporting our Department of Defense customer for over 20 years with an implementation of a Customer-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Financial System. Now we are embarking on a brand-new effort to migrate the separate offline Contracts processes into one unified and integrated Finance and Contracts system. This effort will significantly improve efficiency, transparency, and auditability for our Department of Defense customer allowing them to focus on their vital mission.
We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer with the desire to be a critical member of our team designing and developing creative new solutions for our customer. You will work as a member of the Technical Development Team, developing reports and their underlying stored procedures to support the new integrated Finance and Contracts system. This includes developing new standardized BIRT reports as well as developing a reporting framework to support end user ad hoc reporting within Business Objects.
The Technical Development Team will work closely with the rest of the project team to perform analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of the contract writing solution. You will be working closely with functional team members to develop technical design documents, construct queries and stored procedures, develop reports, and unit test reports to meet the business requirements.
This role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to properly prioritize, multi-task, and work collaboratively with our project team. What You’ll Get to Do:
Collaborate with business systems analysts and the customer to collect and document reporting requirements.
Design, develop, and test new custom BIRT reports to meet business requirements.
Design, develop, and test an underlying universe or framework to support ad hoc reporting.
Define, document, and execute unit test cases to confirm requirements are met.
Provide subject matter expertise in support of reports technical activities.
Work independently with minimal guidance from more senior software developers.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizen with a current Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
Ability to obtain Security+ Certification.
5 years of technical experience in report design and development.
Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including stored procedures.
Willingness to work onsite in a secure facility.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree.
Design and development experience creating dashboards through Business Objects, Cognos, etc.
Experience with Financial Management and/or Acquisition Systems or Business Applications.
Experience with CGI Momentum software.
Self-starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and put new skills to use.
Ability and initiative to set goals and execute.
Possess prior experience of supporting large-scale organizations with successful ERP implementation(s).
