What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is actively seeking an SAP Cloud Architect to support the migration of large, SAP-based Federal financial management systems from on-premise data centers to commercial cloud providers. This role includes the detailed planning and delivery of all facets of the migration and the development of a governance structure to sustain long term operations. You’ll be working alongside seasoned SAP experts to build flexible, scalable architectures and high-performance solutions that meet our customer’s goals and objectives. Strong SAP experience in analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering SAP Technical Architecture Solutions on public cloud.

More About the Role:

  • Design technical architectures for SAP workloads, including sizing, networking, backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery environments. Participate in the low-level design discussion with customers, partners, and vendors.

  • Essential to be capable of deriving an SAP Roadmap for the IT Landscape and provide technical inputs on Best Practices and Recommendations for IT Transformation and Digital Enablement

  • Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and a proven record of success in developing a SAP S/4 HANA Technical Architecture and Cloud Hosting Strategy in a hybrid IT landscape.

  • Define and plan SAP application migration approaches to include downtime minimization strategies. Actively work with the SAP Basis team to prototype and optimize migration approaches.

  • Coordinate cloud resource deployments with Cloud Hosting service providers and ensure cloud resources are provisioned as designed.

  • Lead High-availability, Disaster Recovery and Backup testing efforts in conjunction with Cloud hosting providers.

  • Work with technical teams and hosting providers to resolve system architecture, networking, and scalability issues.

  • Participate in the analysis of the customer's business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements, and assist in level of effort (LOE) estimation.

  • Work across technical and functional teams to ensure business, security, and audit requirements are met while enhancing capabilities.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Extensive, real-world experience in architecting and designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS capabilities.

  • Public Sector experience supporting cloud migrations and ongoing operations.

  • Experience in migrating large enterprise applications to Microsoft Azure. Ideal candidate has hands-on experience migrating SAP systems to SAP HANA on Azure and has a deep understanding of SAP migration tools and methodology.

  • Strong SAP Basis skills in SAP landscape sizing, SAP cloud deployment, SAP HA/DR design, OS/DB migrations, version upgrades, transport management, optimizing features, system performance.

  • Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and a proven record of success as a SAP on Cloud Architect with at least 1 end to end life cycle implementation of SAP S/4 HANA project on premise and on Cloud IaaS hosting.

  • Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and a proven record of success in SAP ECC 6.0/Suite on HANA to SAP S/4 HANA Conversion/migration.

  • Demonstrates intimate-level abilities with SAP workload OS-DB migration to Cloud; Demonstrating an extensive-level of ability in Installation and technical configuration of SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori, GRC, SAP xECM (OpenText), PI/PO, SAP CPI, Cloud connector, Solution Manager, Data hub solutions within Major Cloud IaaS platforms.

  • Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and a proven record of success in administering Linux and Windows operating System.

  • Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and a proven record of administering SAP HANA and other databases.

  • Deep understanding of requirements analysis, design, and system architecture of SAP S/4 HANA and RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows) development/integration.

  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, HANA and SAP RICEFW development

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies

  • Expertise with multi-tiered application architectures, including SAP, and legacy systems modernization

  • Experience with systems development, systems integration, application design and/or legacy

  • Experience with Continuous integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and DevSecOps processes and tools.

  • Experience implementing or migrating to Cloud Service Provider (CSP) environments

  • Proficient authoring and presenting program solution documents

  • Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls.

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, 3+ years in a cloud solution architecture or SAP Basis Architect role

  • At least one full cycle on-prem to cloud migration project in a lead role

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.

  • Ability to pass a NACI background investigation / obtain a Public Trust suitability as required by the program

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with commercial cloud providers (MS Azure, AWS) and multi-cloud environments

  • Experience designing solutions within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) set of controls

  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred.

  • SAP OS/DB migration certification is a plus.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $93,300-$200,500. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
