CACI International Senior Government Compliance Analyst in Reston, Virginia

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is looking for an energetic professional with outstanding analytical capabilities to join our Government Compliance team; a self-starter and enthusiastic team member who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail. This role will be a lead contributor to the Government Compliance team and will assist in supporting DCAA audits, including Incurred Cost, Disclosure Statements and Business Systems. The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in government contracting and good understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain deep exposure to government compliance and be challenged in a results-driven team. The Government Compliance Analyst 4 – Lead/Senior must exercise judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills in performing his/her duties while complying with established policies and procedures. This is a full-time regular position that will work in our Reston Town Center office.

More About the Role:

This position reports to the Director, Government Compliance and will:

  • Act as liaison and interface for reviews and audits

  • Work with management to ensure compliance with government laws

  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation; tracks, monitors, and reports data to support government compliance

  • Identify potential government compliance problems and works to resolve them as well as to prevent future problems

  • Work with managers from other departments to identify potential compliance issues in a proactive fashion

  • Assist with special projects, as required.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience in government contracting and familiarity with FAR and CAS

  • Experience in preparing Incurred Cost Proposals

  • Advanced Excel proficiency

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain and defend a point of view

  • Self-starter able to take initiative within a fast paced, agile environment

  • Ability to build effective relationships with government representatives

  • Well organized and confident to work independently but be a strong team player

  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multi-task on a variety of initiatives

  • Demonstrates confidence and credibility

  • Good judgment and decision-making skills

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance or related field with an Accounting/Auditing focus is highly preferred.

  • 7 + years of related experience required.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in disclosure statement preparation, review and revisions

  • Experience in assisting Business Systems audits

  • Experience in Deltek Costpoint is a plus
