CACI International Senior .Net Software Developer in Reston, Virginia
The selected candidate will join our Reston, VA team to serve as a Senior .Net Software Developer for a software modernization effort for the Nuclear Test Personnel Review Program’s conversion of a client server based SQL Server database with a PowerBuilder front end system to a web based system. The software application consists of modules for claims processing and tracking, military records ordering, research and radiation exposure research, administrative functions, and an extensive set of queries and reports. He/she will work with a Business Analyst who has developed a comprehensive set of functional requirements based on collaboration with end users and will be the sole developer on this project.
Execute full software development life cycle
.NET development experience is required
Collaborate with the BA/QA Analyst to develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Develop the user screens for each module.
Write well-designed, testable code
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the system
Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
Comply with project plans and industry standards
Ensure software is updated with latest features.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires bachelor’s degree in software development, or equivalent
Minimum 5 year of experience as a software developer
Experience with/in the Agile development methodology
