CACI International Site Security Officer / Contractor Special Security Officer in Reston, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is looking for an Industrial Security Officer to join our team of passionate security professionals in our Centennial Park Reston, VA office. You will be a key contributor to the security team and will administer the Industrial Security Program, Customer Security Program, and sensitive compartmented information programs for a CACI company.
You'll be well versed in administering routine aspects of the Intelligence and other industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action. You should be able to build high-trust partnerships with management and other security team members, while being energetic, detail oriented, analytical, and self-starting.
More About the Role:
You will report to the Program Security Manager and will:
Follow the ICD, and other government regulations, to administer routine aspects of the DOD, Intelligence and other industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Your duties include support to sensitive compartmented information programs. Primary duties include maintaining an accurate and updated Fixed Facility Checklist and accreditation letters, alarm maintenance, certification documentation and testing, construction security plans and customer coordination and approval for modifications. Train staff identified for open/close access and maintain records. Create Post Orders consistent with the accreditation requirements and company policy for the Uniformed Security Guard force, review activity logs and ensure compliance. Program alarm system with user information and keep updated as individuals leave, change door and safe combinations as needed due to staff turnover and maintain record of combinations. Make and program employee badges for site access. This position is also responsible for preparation of visit authorization letters (VALs), and coordination of cleared visitors including validating clearances. Protect classified government information, monitor security procedures, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems and procedures. Conduct security briefings and conduct security education programs briefings. Investigate losses and security violations and recommend corrective actions. Maintain classified storage and audits of documents. Maintain security oversight for SCIF areas. Maintain security oversite as the CSO for a Special Access Program. Oversee multiple classified LANs and maintain COMSEC equipment, coordinating with customer for COMSEC requirements, receiving and ordering keys along with conducting COMSEC Audits. Maintain files for customers and audits. Conduct bi-annual self-inspections. Interface directly with program management to address security items specific to each program/contract. Have the ability and flexibility to move from one task to another and to be available for a variety of tasks as the need arises.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years related work experience.
Must have current final TS/SCI access and Polygraph.
Must possess practical knowledge of and experience with JPAS, e-QIP, SIMS, ISFD, SWFT and ACCS.
Must have previous industrial security experience and an in-depth knowledge of the NISPOM.
Must have experience with personnel security, document and visitor control.
Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally with all levels of staff and outside personnel.
Must have experience in the contractor community in security management.
Excellent written and oral communications and teamwork skills.
Self-starter able to take initiative within a fast paced, agile environment.
Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Well organized and confident to work independently but be a strong team player.
Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multi-task on a variety of initiatives.
Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Completion of SCI Contractors Special Security Officer (CSSO) Course
Completed FSO Training for Possessing Facilities in CDSE
Completion of additional Intel Community courses would be a plus.
Completion of additional CDSE correspondence courses would be a plus.
