What You’ll Get to Do:
You will provide premier Tier 4 engineering support for the global enterprise hosting platform infrastructure. You will support the Windows operating system and Citrix Desktop environments. You will provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems. You will test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. You will coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared. You will also consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles workflow. You will assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures. You will produce engineering solutions, automated when feasible, that may be transitioned to an O&M organization, Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow, and Analyze and study complex system requirements. You will apply the concept of operations set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design and construction of information systems across a major sector of the organization, develop analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions, and Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. You will prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation and other duties as assigned
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in multiple current technology areas to include: client/server systems, Citrix XenApp 7.15, networking hardware, protocols and administration, and system integration across multi-tiered IT environments.
Engineering experience with Citrix 7.15 XenApp/XenDesktop and NetScaler
Understanding of Storage Concepts
Knowledge with MS Hyper-V and VMware
Windows Servers 2012 R2
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Prior Tier 4 support
Strong documentation skills
System Center Configuration Manager
System Center Operations Manager
Microsoft Certifications: MCSE, MCT, MCSA
Education and Experience Requirements:
12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
10 Years of job related experience and Associate degree
8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
