CACI International Technical Project Manager in Reston, Virginia

Job Description

As an experienced Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a development team and working closely with the customer to perform daily management activities that follow an Agile methodology. You will also, lead and work closely with the integrated team to deliver products according to the prioritized backlog, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, autonomous security focused team environment.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Performing both, horizontal and vertical integration planning

  • Collaborating with other functional areas to ensure technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner

  • Performing direct daily operations to include analyzing workflow amongst project areas and working with the customer in establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines

  • Coordinating project activities that move the projects forward

  • Providing supervision, technical management, training, and direction to staff, as appropriate

  • Preparing finished deliverables (e.g., status reports, project management plans/gates, and open issues)

  • Leading team dynamic/scrum ceremonies, while removing blockers and improving team performance

  • Ensuring personnel have the appropriate information, knowledge, and skills to perform the assigned tasks

  • Elevating and documenting issues, as appropriate

  • Providing input to weekly reports and quarterly capabilities briefings

  • Understanding the customer’s mission and requirements

  • Establishing and maintaining a close working relationship with customer technical staff and all partners

  • Ensuring senior management are always informed of appropriate activities and issues

  • Staying abreast of advances in technology and processes

  • Experience working in a dynamic and collaborative environment

  • Experience implementing Project Management Plans, Processes, and Project Control Gates

You will have one of the following:

  • 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 10 Years of job related experience and Associate’s degree

  • 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 4 Years of job related experience and a Doctorate

Experience with the following is a plus:

  • PMP Certification

  • Scrum Master trained or certified

9:30am to 2:30pm
